United for Adoption is dedicated to promoting the culture of adoption through education, outreach, support, and activities. 

 

To accomplish our goals, we provide education and outreach in some of the following ways:

We sponsor the United for Adoption Conference, which is held annually. For more information on our conferences, please visit our “events” tab.

We facilitate presentations for community organizations who are interested in becoming better educated about adoption. This can include groups like high school health classes or teen pregnancy prevention programs. Visit our “school presentations” tab if you are interested in requesting a presentation.

We provide informative materials on adoption issues on our United for Adoption Website. These are organized by target audience and can be accessed from the home page.

We promote community activities supporting a positive view of adoption. We work to dispel myths about adoption and provide opportunities to celebrate adoption in our communities.

We participate in adoption advocacy by providing information on adoption to hospitals, attorneys, and medical clinics.
